The Dangers in My Heart Season 3 Sets April 2027 Return

Kyotaro Ichikawa and Anna Yamada on swings in a park at sunset in the Season 3 teaser visual

Romance fans have something new to put on their spring watchlists: The Dangers in My Heart will return for its third season in April 2027 in Japan. The anime’s official website revealed the release window alongside a teaser trailer and visual, giving viewers their first look at the next chapter for Kyotaro Ichikawa and Anna Yamada. The announcement provides a more specific window following the earlier confirmation that another season was in production.

The new visual takes a quieter approach, placing Ichikawa and Yamada at a park at sunset. Meanwhile, the teaser brings familiar faces back into the picture, including their classmate Moeko Sekine, Ichikawa’s older sister Kana, and her bandmate Akira Momoyama. We’ll leave the trailer’s more revealing moments for viewers to discover themselves—especially if you’re still catching up with the previous seasons.

For anyone new to the series, The Dangers in My Heart follows the withdrawn Ichikawa and his outgoing classmate Yamada as they gradually grow closer. Its first television season aired in April 2023, followed by the second in January 2024. The upcoming season will continue their story through school commitments, Yamada’s entertainment work, and events including a summer festival and their final middle-school cultural festival.

Our take: a romance has plenty of room to grow through ordinary moments, and that makes the next season’s mix of personal ambitions and school life an appealing direction. For returning viewers, April offers a clear point on the calendar to look forward to. For newcomers, there’s time to see whether Ichikawa and Yamada’s story belongs on your watchlist.
