Cookies and external services
Essential site storage
AnimeHQ uses session cookies and related request protection to keep you signed in, protect forms against cross-site request forgery, preserve choices during navigation, and operate private support access. A remember-me choice can extend sign-in persistence. Eligibility and support grants are stored in the server-side session associated with the session cookie.
Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in, registration, progress updates, or ticket access from working. You can clear cookies in your browser; doing so signs you out or removes session-based access.
External services
Cloudflare Turnstile processes browser and connection signals for bot protection. Discord receives information when you use its authentication flow. AniList receives authorization and list requests when you connect your account, and its image hosts receive requests when artwork loads. Follow their linked privacy notices for their own processing.
A link to an external site sends you to that operator's service. Remotely loaded resources can communicate your IP address and browser information even without a separate external-site login.
Optional tracking
AnimeHQ does not currently use optional analytics or advertising tracking. Essential session functions are distinct from optional analytics or advertising. This page is not consent to optional tracking. Any such integration must be reviewed for its actual data use, disclosed, and accompanied by any legally required choices before activation. Contact the operator to ask about a particular cookie or resource.
Videos in articles
Articles may link to YouTube videos. The embedded player is loaded only after you choose “Load YouTube video.” Loading it connects your browser to YouTube and related Google services, which may process your IP address, browser information, playback activity, and storage under their own policies. The player uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain; this does not mean anonymous playback or no data processing. You can leave it unloaded or use the external watch link instead. See YouTube’s privacy information.
